Youth and Children's Word of Life

"Word of Life" ministries are beginning again very soon and we want you to join us as reach our youth and children with the Gospel of Christ.

Both our "Gopher Buddies" and "Olympians" will be meeting in the children's department and those meetings will begin on Sunday evening, September 19 at 5:30 PM.  New programs, devotions, and fun activities will be the order of the day.  Those interested in becoming a part of "Gopher Buddies" or "Olympians" may pre-register on the form below.

Our "Word of Life Student Ministries" at Calvary picks up again on Sunday, October 11 at 6:30 PM for our youth.  Those eligible for "WOL Student Ministries" are those entering 6th grade or higher in school this Fall.  Studies include ways to deal with problems at school or home and dynamic devotions to help you through your teenage years.  This year's theme: "The Church, Allies & Enemies" will be taught by Rev. Dewayne Lambeth, our Minister of Youth/Education.

"Teen's Involved" will be competition within the "WOL Student Ministries" and will include: preaching, teaching, singing, instruments, poetry/prose, puppets, and quiz teams.  "Teen's Involved" is a unique opportunity for teens to develop and showcase their spiritual gifts.  Their competition will begin on the local level and can take them either to the regional or even the International levels.  Three of our teens last year  competed on the international level with one of our teens placing second in the expository preaching category.  If you are interested, you may register on the form below for this year's events and activities.
